You could say Oyster Yachts of the UK is a driven enterprise... when it comes to sought after luxury motor yachts. The objective for their new 43 ft power yacht was to build it quickly, but to top-notch standards. No room for compromise or delays.
After a global search they chose mouldCAM because all 13 complex internal moulds could be integrated into one streamlined continuous mould via one of mouldCAM's 3D-computing and giant CNC-router based systems in Queensland, Australia. Result: faster production to meet market expectations of shorter delivery timeframes. Traditional build schedules needed to be shrunk. Moulds began cutting in September/October at mouldCAM and by July the following year the boat was launched... well ahead of schedule and perfect hull lines that said, "This is a quality vessel."
