Seven years as a professional yachtsman managing large value campaigns across a global racing schedule delivered key lessons that Toby has applied in his business career. The strength of collaboration and team work, meticulous planning, and the confidence to strive, indeed to expect to be the best.
Toby has proven experience in business development being the founding partner and Managing Director of Sunsail in Australia. He built this premier yacht charter brand across the Asia Pacific with 60 yachts in operation to a business with annual revenues of A$6 million with assets under management of A$25,000,000 and a staff of 50.
In October 2000 Toby sold to one of the largest listed leisure companies in the UK - First Choice. Initially employed by First Choice to run Asia Pacific operations his responsibilities grew to include the European businesses relocating to head office in Paris. At this point he was forced to postpone his last year of his MBA studies and exited with a Graduate Diploma with a High distinction average from Sydney’s University of Technology. He joined the Board of Directors of First Choice Marine (annual t/o A$300 million) in 2003 as Marketing and Yield Director. Toby was responsible for marketing a portfolio of five brands into all the principal markets around the world and managing the return on assets of 2,400 charter boats and 6 hotels operating across 23 countries.

Jaime set up his own business consulting to an industry continually pushing the application of composites to the very edge – the Industry of the America’s Cup. For over 15 years Jaime has developed engineering and technical solutions working side by side with some of the world’s most talented designers and engineers. Jaime’s core skill of understanding the engineering challenges has kept him in constant demand working around the world including complex projects in Japan, the USA, UK and Europe. In this capacity Jaime had first hand experience in the competitive advantage made possible by applying 3D design and modeling via 5-axis CNC routing to produce high tolerance curved surfaces.
The America's Cup is one of the most extreme examples of being "result orientated" with virtually no room for error – it just has to be right, first time - every time. Combine this with an unquenchable thirst for the development of new technology and you encapsulate Jaime. Apart from his technical skills Jaime brings a tireless work ethic and a single minded focus on delivering premium performance standards.
